What's Happening at Mulligan

Dr Hudson
Dear Mulligan Family,
The beginning of a new school year, like the dawning of a new day, reminds us that the future holds infinite possibilities.  I hope that your summer was relaxing, filled with adventures and good health.  I know that we are about to begin a great school year filled with hope, vision, and excitement. As we begin this new year, I wish everyone the greatest success while we welcome our young scholars to their educational journey of 2019-2020.

Our motto and vision here at Mulligan is "Educating Children for College, Career and Beyond, we are all in this Together!".  Our accomplishments thus far have been monumental and as a newly merged elementary building, we will continue our focus on teaching and learning so that our students graduate college and career ready. While maintaining the implementation of the initiatives already in place, we will continue to focus on addressing the Character Pillars, Inviting Classrooms and Practices as well as our Community Service Program.  We also plan to enhance our Parent University Program which is grounded in the notion that schools can thrive when families and teachers work together, as genuine partners, to maximize student learning inside and outside of school.  Clearly, it is a year of great ambition and promise.

I am confident we can meet all of our initiatives because we have teachers, faculty and parents that believe in the promise of educational excellence.  We know that we have work to do, work that requires commitment, focus and collaboration and I know that we will succeed.  I do not need to remind you of how important your job is for our children at Mulligan.  They need our collective wisdom and our care.  My hope is that by working together that we continue to create a thriving educational community and family here at Mulligan Elementary School.

I look forward to a year filled with great success and great learning.  Remember, "Educating Children for College, Career, and Beyond...We are all in this together!"

Thank you,

Tracy Hudson, Ed.D.
